Parting from the Four Attachments, line 3

Standard

རང་དོན་ལ་ཞེན་ན་བྱང་སེམས་མིན།

Rang dön la shen na chang sem med

རང་དོན : rang dön : self-purpose

བྱང་སེམས : chang sem : Bodhicitta

If you are attached to self-purpose, you don’t have Bodhicitta.

Note that the pronunciation is med rather than min. The text says min though. But the Gelug geshe’s who were kind enough to take time with me clearly said med (many times). Med would actually mean “doesn’t exist”.
